I am delighted to have been appointed as a parent governor for the academic years 2024-2028. Alongside having a daughter in Reception, I also have a background in secondary education, and I’m looking forward to utilising this experience in my role at Woodcroft. I have been teaching for over 10 years, originally starting out as a Music teacher, but quickly taking an interest in pastoral care. I currently work on the leadership team in one of the local secondary schools with a responsibility for Behaviour, Safeguarding and Attendance. I am an advocate for student’s time in education not only being about their academic success, but their social and personal success too. Outside of work, I spend my free time making memories with my family and enjoying every minute of the hectic pace of life with a 4 year old.
